Ambassador Outreach Program

At the end of the 2003 annual conference, Herb Mays approached Executive Director Christine Egnoski about an idea for a system of members reaching out to other members in their area. This idea has grown into the Ambassador Outreach Program. We are looking for members to serve as volunteer representatives for their states. Knowledge of basic computer skills, including Internet e-mail, is suggested; a willingness to spend time proactively meeting and interacting with a variety of potential resources for Society members is required. Each ambassador will be given a list of current members residing in the state and will then actively collect data and obtain leads for information from members, art schools, manufacturers, and other organizations to build a resource book for their state. The ambassador will also make 'welcome calls' to new members and work with the Society office to communicate and coordinate state events and exhibits.

If you think you may be interested, fill out the information form and return it to the Portrait Society.
